Hair Today Gone Tomorrow

I just returned from my 3rd chemo in KL. Feeling well except for slight nausea and malaise. With medicine, able to eat a whole bowl of chicken porridge at lunch. The photo showed a clump of hair lost in one day 2 weeks after the first chemo. Since then hair continues to drop but at slower rate. At least save money from hairdressing. Next photo, wearing Sherlock Holmes cap.

Hair today, Gone tomorrow: Comments
It’s got rhythm. It’s got meter, It’s got music, and it’s got meaning. What more can you ask? Now that you’ve lost your bushel, all these talents are revealed. Watch out world! Keep it up. Yeo Guan Teik, Sydney

You are the loving proof that you cannot get a food guy down. Did you have ondansetron for the nausea? Hair loss is a sure sign the chemo is working. You are an amazing poet. It is not easy to string out words like you have done.  Keep them coming for they are inspirational. Tan Poh Hwa

It looks more like Marshal Lin Piao! Doc, if Liok Ee, who was the poetry star of our Sixth Form, says your poems are good then you can rest assured that them pomes are fair dinkum, as Hon Tat may say!Your fighting spirit is indeed amazing and an inspiration to all of us. Keep it up, SK! Sulaiman Abdullah

well in the photo and also your bunch of hair! You are also becoming a poet- well done. Chew Hon Nam

In your leisure you are able to contribute by scanning the Internet and getting news of
GMC/JJ. The fund raising dinner organized by Dr. Wadia and others was in 2009. If we contact him , I do not think we should mention about the funds we are raising? The funds are all not in yet and non GMCites have also contributed.Maybe I can ask generally about him and the funds they were raising in 2009 and their progress.I can then get back to you. Thomas Varughese

Ya, you will save shampoo too. Didn't know one can get so creative during chemo treatment!!
Take care. Lena Bok
