I Look At The Cross

I Look At The Cross

In Pain I look at the Cross
With Christ’s limbs hanging on the tree
Agonising instead of me
Body bleeding and skin pealing
Every stripe for my healing

In Faith I look at the Cross
With all my sins nailed on the wood
Free from punishment as I should
How Christ Jesus took all the shame
To have me clear from all the blame

In Hope I look at the Cross
The body taken to the cave
In the morn, He rose from the grave
So when we are on our last breath
We know that Christ has conquered death

In Love, I look at the Cross
The upright wood of perfect love
That came down from our God above
But the outstretched arms now declare
To the world around we must share

  1. Dr Teoh, God is good. He healed me of Hep C and surely He has healed you. You are his servant, God sent me to the ALPHA course you conducted in YMCA. When God heals, there is no after effects, no recurrence because He has done it on the cross, once and for all, amen. Praise Him.
